About Us

ViVAsPro is UK based charitable organisation with global reach.  It has grown naturally from local need, by disabled professionals in the community.  We are committed to helping disabled, disadvantaged and minority groups (e.g. refugees and women) who have suffered any form of hardship, trauma or abuse internationally.

ViVAsPro understands that hardship, trauma and/or abuse can happen across all ages, genders, races, religions, sexual orientations, cultures and social groups, but is much higher within disabled and minority groups.  We also understand that abuse can take many forms including:

  • Physical
  • Mental
  • Emotional
  • Sexual
  • Domestic
  • Financial/Material
  • Discriminatory
  • Neglect

Victims often feel ashamed and not know where to go for advice or support. They can suffer from emotional, psychological and physical effects. As a result they can suffer isolation, depression and associated health problems, and feel excluded from society.  This can leave them vulnerable and without a voice.

Currently there is little practical support available for these groups due to additional disability barriers. Vivas Pro is committed to challenging the barriers these groups face with practical support.  Responding to both current and potential situations through our Practical Support (PS) Project and our new English for Life activities.
